My Crypto Heroes - Game Review

My Crypto Heroes - Game Review

My Crypto Heroes stands as an Ethereum blockchain RPG, featuring historical heroes, quests for rare items, and battles for fame and rewards. My Crypto Heroes (MCH) stands as a turn-based RPG strategy game accessible through web browsers. Renowned within the blockchain community, it employs ERC-721 token-based "heroes". Its connection with the EMONT alliance, comprising PC game developers advocating EMONT as a universal cross-game currency, has further fueled its popularity. My Crypto Heroes introduces a play-to-earn MMORPG concept, enabling players to possess NFT characters and items, while simultaneously accumulating MCHC tokens, all built on the Ethereum network. Additional tokens like GUM, CI, and CP serve distinct purposes within the game's framework. The game seamlessly caters to both mobile and PC users, offering an expansive platform choice. To initiate the My Crypto Heroes journey, individuals need to navigate to the official website. Account creation offers two avenues: either through a Google account or an Ethereum wallet. Opting for a Google account grants access to three complimentary heroes, though acquiring additional ones is restricted. On the other hand, using an Ethereum wallet grants complete game privileges, enabling hero collection. Once logged in, a trio of crypto heroes – MCH Warrior, MCH Tactician, and MCH Artist – is provided without charge. While the prospect of obtaining more heroes is appealing, it should be noted that ERC-721 heroes on-chain come at a minimum cost of 5,000 GUM (0.5 ETH or approximately US$88). In the dual game mode system, PvE mode permits hero exploration in dungeons for experience points and rare NFT items, which are vital for asset advancement. PvP mode engages players in tournaments, rewarding top-ranking participants with NFT items.

It offers an immersive role-playing experience, allowing players to summon heroes, undertake missions, go on quests, and explore uncharted territories. The game is set in the world of Elleria, which was once a thriving land but was devastated by a colossal dragon named Ignacio. However, the Goddess of Elleria, Elysis, intervened and subdued Ignacio, leaving behind a prophecy. Players take on the role of citizens of Elleria who can summon heroes and use Ellerium, a valuable resource, to defend the city from impending monster threats and fulfill the prophecy. Gameplay in "Tales of Elleria" involves heroes embarking on missions to earn Medals, which enhance heroes, enable quests, and improve equipment. Players must battle formidable monsters to collect resources and rewards. The ultimate goal is to unite with other players and vanquish Ignacio, who resides in an uncharted lair. Summoning heroes is a crucial process that involves integrating them into the player's MetaMask wallet and binding their souls to bring them into the game. The game features 10,000 Genesis heroes with different classes (Warrior, Assassin, Mage, Ranger) and rarity levels. Heroes can be equipped with gear and possess unique skills, which add complexity and diversity to combat. Traits, though currently preset, affect hero behavior during quests. Quests are essential for progression, yielding Elm, Medals, and NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). The in-game economy of Elleria relies on various tokens and NFTs, including Heroes, Equipment, Drops/Relics, $ELLERIUM (ELM) as the primary currency representing the Goddess's blessing, and $MEDALS as a supplementary token for daily transactions within the City. The community response to "Tales of Elleria" has been positive, with players expressing excitement and anticipation for the game's release. The project aims to bridge the gap between traditional online games and play-to-earn games. It runs on the Polygon blockchain, which has benefits like low transaction fees and high throughput. The Nakamoto Games, unlike many blockchain games, deals with these problems and has a real token burn mechanism for deflationary sustainability. Their economy is diverse, and their economic model has no winners or losers. This makes for a strong financial ecosystem. They attract a larger audience by making a platform with multiple games and putting themselves in the play-to-earn market as leaders. Also, recent team additions have helped them improve their development, website updates, and tokenomics, which means they will continue to grow and listen to what the community has to say. This year, Nakamoto Games surprised everyone by putting out 20 different games in a wide range of genres, all of which kept getting better and better. But their innovative approach includes putting out about two new games a month, which helps them be successful in the long run.
