In the world of Meda Shooter, players choose to fight for either the Goliath or the Renegade side in a divided society. The gameplay is simple and involves moving your hero up and down to avoid enemy attacks while shooting at enemies. Defeating Swarm enemies may sometimes release tokens that players must collect. These tokens, called TECH, can be staked and farmed to enhance abilities and unlock other perks. As players defeat more enemies, their score increases, but missing an enemy will reduce the score. The score determines the power of the hero, which can be used to upgrade the value of the NFT hero.
Before entering a battle in Meda Shooter, players have the option to upgrade their NFT heroes by purchasing various equipment, weapons, armor, and other accessories. The game now offers NFT weapons upgrades, meaning that players can collect and upgrade their weapons as NFTs. The Goliath and Renegade groups each have their own unique abilities, with the Goliaths featuring the Chain Gun ability and the Renegades featuring the Deep Wound ability. Both sides can use the Snap ability, but it requires revolution cards. In-game tokens called TECH can be used to upgrade NFT heroes, buy weapons, accessories, armor, and more.
