Oathbound is a hybrid game that blends traditional gameplay independent of crypto-currency (off-chain) with useful but optional blockchain elements (on-chain) to finally bring gamers and coiners together. True utility is provided by the NFTs Oathbound features without jeopardizing the game's balance.
The tank, damage dealer, and support class systems from Oathbound are battle-proof. Choose the play style that best fits your primary character and feel free to add up to three additional units to your squad to try out various builds and specs, from traditional to remarkable, from squishy to tanky. As you advance in the game, each of the four basic class archetypes grows into two more, more specialized classes. As new classes are announced, follow us to be notified.
Play and Earn Mechanics and Tokens in Oathbound
Oathbound is a hybrid game that mixes off-chain, or traditional gameplay with on-chain, or helpful blockchain elements. It puts an effort to ultimately bring gamers and coiners together. The game is accessible for free (free to play). Moreover, there is an in-game store where players can buy useful, convenient, and cosmetic items for real money (EUR, USD, etc. / Fiat). You can freely link your cryptocurrency wallet to the game in order to earn in-game $LEET tokens. So, the players will trade them for in-game digital goods and NFTs with other players on the meta marketplace. It will allow you to eventually recoup the time you spent playing the game (play-and-earn).
Oathbound is playable on either a PC or a Mac. Other platforms and/or companion apps are not currently in the plans but they may do so in the future, largely depending on community-wide decisions.
